About the Academy

  Business and Technology Academy (BTA) was founded on the basis of 34 years of educational experience. In 2014, it was granted the status of an authorized vocational educational institution and currently implements educational programs in priority fields.

Today, the Academy is one of the vocational educational institutions that became a holder of the ISO 9001:2015 certificate in December 2019 (address: 208 Tseronisi Street, Tbilisi).

According to recent statistics, it is a leading college in terms of student enrollment.

In 2018, it was awarded the title of “Best Partner of the Year” by the Social Service Agency.

Within the framework of college branding, it was awarded the highest rating of 5 stars twice in 2016–2017.

In 2019, the Business and Technology Academy was one of the first institutions to introduce the dual program “Construction Supervisor.”

For the first time in the private education sector, a student of the Academy’s Electrical Vocational Program became a scholarship holder of JSC “Energo-Pro Georgia.”

For our organization, it is strategically important to establish partnerships and develop cooperation with various stakeholders, which supports student employment.

The Business and Technology Academy is a member of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Association of Private Colleges. On February 14, 2019, BTA also became a partner organization of the Georgian Vocational Counseling Association, led by the Academy’s Rector, Ms. Sofio Matcharashvili.
